The Philippine Transmarine Carriers (PTC) RISE Team, in collaboration with the Iloilo City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, successfully conducted the RISE Iloilo City Master Trainers Graduation and Distribution of Incentives on February 23 at the Auditorium Penthouse, Iloilo City Hall. 49 RISE Iloilo City Master Trainers were recognized for their dedication, effort, and passion for Disaster Preparedness and Resiliency, by conducting 92 Sessions of the Citizen Training Program (CTP) and training 5,448 Ilonggos on Disaster Preparedness and Resiliency.

PTC Shipping Chief Operating Officer (COO) Ms. Beng Cristobal, applauded the achievements of the RISE Iloilo City Master Trainers and expressed her gratitude towards the Iloilo City Government headed by Mayor Jerry Treñas and the Iloilo CDRRMO, headed by Ms. Donna P. Magno, for enabling the activation of the RISE Program, for the benefit of Ilonggos and betterment of their Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) capacities.

RISE Resilience Partner Asia Society for Social Improvement and Sustainable Transformation, represented by Project Management Lead Casey Anne Cruz, awarded certificates of completion and participation with incentives to the RISE Iloilo City Master Trainers. PTC's RISE Lead Program Officer Josh P. McCarver recognized the Top 10 RISE Iloilo City Master Trainers with the most number of individuals trained, the most number of sessions conducted, and the teams with the highest accumulated number of citizens trained under the CTP.

Special thanks to PTC Iloilo headed by its Branch Manager Ms. Maimai Sotelo for her contributions and support in making the RISE Program possible in Iloilo City.
